Hi! I'm Minji, an experienced Korean language teacher with a strong professional background in both Korea and the U.S.
I graduated from one of Korea’s top Colleges of Education and began my career as a high school math teacher. Since moving to the U.S., I’ve taught in both Korean and American schools, which gave me valuable insight into how students acquire language and how Korean looks from an English speaker’s perspective. This experience helps me design lessons that are practical, effective, and approachable for learners from diverse backgrounds.
In addition, my years working as a personal yoga and pilates trainer taught me the importance of individualized instruction and clear communication. I bring that same student-centered approach to my Korean classes, tailoring lessons to each learner’s needs and goals.
I currently live in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and my passion is helping students of all ages connect with Korean language and culture in a warm, supportive, and engaging way.
